Rally against homosexual agenda in CT on April 7

from the Family Institute of Connecticut.
Rally for Religious Liberty TOMORROW,
April 7th at the State Capitol!

We beat their blatantly unconstitutional attack on the Catholic Church.

We beat "transgender" special rights--even after they tried to dress it up as another bill.

But the Lawlor-and-McDonald-controlled Judiciary Committee's biggest attack on religious liberty in 2009 is well on its way to becoming law...unless the people of Connecticut make their voice heard!
We need your help to amend the same-sex "marriage" codification bill. If this bill passes in its present form it will likely lead to major new attacks on religious liberty in our state and to a mandate to teach homosexuality in our schools!
Join Connecticut families from around the state to take a stand for religious liberty, parental rights and the innocence of our children
TOMORROW, April 7th on the north steps of the state Capitol in Hartford at 10:00 am. It is critical that we show our support for pro-family values on a weekday while the legislature is in session.
We will begin the day with the Rally for Religious Liberty at 10:00 a.m. and then move over to the Legislative Office Building (Room 1C) to meet with our legislators. More details on TOMORROW'S Rally and Lobby Day are available on our homepage. (We also encourage people to attend the 12 pm Federalist Society debate on religious liberty and same-sex "marriage."

Contact Brian Freeman at bfreeman@rc.com; or (860) 275-8310 for details.) FIC has learned that transgender activists have scheduled their lobby day for tomorrow. While we need as big a turnout as possible, it is important to make our members aware of this so that those with small children can plan accordingly. It is perfectly fine to simply come and attend the Rally and not the Lobby Day.
We are asking you to do whatever you can to protect religious liberty and the family! (This might also be a good occasion for fathers to step up at the Legislative Office Building in place of their wives and children, if they are able.)
Many families have already signed up to meet with their legislators. If you are interested in meeting with your legislators it is best to set up a time between 11:00 and 1:00 that day to do so. You can call your state representative and state senator and make an appointment to meet with them:
House Democrats can be reached at 800-842-8267 and House Republicans can be reached at 800-842-1423.
Senate Democrats can be reached at 800-842-1420 and Senate Republicans can be reached at 860-240-8800.
Even if you can not set up a time, it is well worth coming up to the Capitol for the Rally. We hope to see as many of you as possible TOMORROW at 10:00 am!
