NY Times on Pre-Natal Testing for Down Syndrome

Last night at the premiere of "Mr Blue Sky", this article was mentioned, and the statistic about a 90% abortion rate for Down Syndrome babies mentioned, to the horror of the audience. "We need to educate doctors about the potential that people with Down Syndrome have, so that parents will bring them to birth, and love them, in the 90's we had Chris Burke in 'Life Goes On , but now there are no media examples for doctors to point to," said Gail Williamson of Down Syndrome Association of Los Angeles.
That's precisely my reason for supporting that hopeful film. We are still looking for a distributor.
