American a Muslim Nation?

from the Family Research Council

First he declared that America isn't "a Christian nation." Now President Obama is telling the world that his country is a Muslim one. In a stunning interview with France's Canal Plus, he said, "If you actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we'd be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world." The statement, one in a long line of White House shockers, is part of the administration's campaign to soften the opposition to America in advance of the President's speech to the Islamic world tomorrow.

As ABC's Jake Tapper puts it, President Obama is getting in touch with his "inner-Muslim," even embracing "Hussein," his once-taboo middle name. Wednesday, the President is hoping his silky oratory will translate well in Cairo, where he will try to charm the Arab nations with his Muslim roots. While the White House may talk a good game, this President's agenda is the embodiment of every immorality the Islamic world detests about the West. In five months, his policies have endorsed global promiscuity, sodomy, and abortion.

Just last Friday, his Baghdad embassy presided over the region's first "drag party" in the middle of a war zone. Like a growing number of Americans, the Middle East sees the tension between the President's rhetoric and the global reality. This kind of duplicity only fans the flames of anti-American sentiment.

While the President speaks of peace and reconciliation on the Arab stage, American soldiers are being gunned down in the U.S. by Muslim converts. On Monday, a 24-year-old Army recruiter was killed and another wounded by Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammed in Arkansas. The suspect admitted to the killing, blaming "what [the Army] had done to Muslims in the past."

As my friend Gary Bauer pointed out in his End of Day, "President Obama, who immediately condemned the murder of abortionist George Tiller on Sunday, still has not--24 hours later--said one word about the cowardly attack on these soldiers. The U.S. Justice Department, which sent federal marshals yesterday to guard abortion clinics, has sent no one to guard our military recruitment offices, even though more than 100 of those offices have been attacked in recent years... (only 2 abortion clinic attacks have happened in 10 years)

I guess he was just too busy pouring over his... proclamation declaring June 'Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month.'

Egyptian newspapers and media in recent days since the announcement of Obama on his visit to Cairo to deliver a statement to the nation, a Muslim living in a forum .. Write about the hopes and goals of the visit and chanted values Cairo announced it will be a forum for speech and shouts of optimism, as if Obama will enter Al-Azhar, Cairo Mtertdia turban and says he supports the religion Muhammad - peace be upon him - and he would Jerusalem and the occupied territories to their children and, despite my conviction that Obama is different from the Bush, America has a fixed strategy in dealing with Islam and Muslims and their strategy is due to several reasons First: the conviction that they represent and the progress of science and Muslims represent ignorance and backwardness and reactionary .. Second: that is what we have going on behind the scenes Voobama not hand the decision-making alone is in the grip of the lobby is the impact on the decisions of the White House remains in the media are all owned by Jews and Zionists, whether legible or visible or audible increase in the money houses, stock exchanges, banks and missionaries visited the Obama Imnon themselves that will balance the relationship between the Islamic and Arab world and Israel and between the relationship that would induce it to accept a draft peace wishes that this equal and disabled who have no recourse but to wait for the other to avoid disaster or restore to us our stolen .. The United States condemns terrorism and use it against us, and raise the slogans of human rights to everyone they play by the first of our rights and the position of Obama's recent enough not to approve the publication of photographs of torture and rape of female prisoners in Iraq and was due for a full-scale inquiry and fragmented causing .. Obama will probably talk about that Islam is a religion of peace and that he is different from the terrorism .. Perhaps some will consider the views to bring the distance between Islam and the West, but do not expect much from Obama, or wait to treat us as equals, or balances us and we juxtaposed the ground and bled the blood of an economy and dispersed, and a rupture between the State and has interests makes any American administration has given absolute priority to their security by exploiting the Islamic and Arab impotence and disperse, and thus we will continue to lag behind and we are in ignorance of the peace and they are running behind the promises Ktaba unwitnessed follow it and dictate this is not an invitation to reject the other, or communicate with him or shut ourselves or Ntqouka, but an invitation to search for a solution in ourselves, and we look forward to active force. Just peace and the strength needed to unify the ranks and we all remember the war, Ramadan / October 1973 when it united the Arabs won the word and does not reconcile to God and to introduce the Force II and III Union and what we have won victory in peace and not give up one inch of land

These are selected excerpts from the President's Cairo speech. He left out one important exception in each line..."What I'm saying doesn't apply to the unborn."

"I have come here to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world; one based upon mutual interest and mutual respect; and one based upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive, and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles – principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings."

"We were founded upon the ideal that all are created equal, and we have shed blood and struggled for centuries to give meaning to those words – within our borders, and around the world."

B"ecause we reject the same thing that people of all faiths reject: the killing of innocent men, women, and children. And it is my first duty as President to protect the American people."

"Our daughters can contribute just as much to society as our sons, and our common prosperity will be advanced by allowing all humanity – men and women – to reach their full potential."

"a world where governments serve their citizens, and the rights of all God's children are respected."

"to find common ground, to focus on the future we seek for our children, and to respect the dignity of all human beings."

"The people of the world can live together in peace. We know that is God's vision."

I wonder if the President understands how hollow his rhetoric sounds to those who actually believe in the dignity of ALL human beings?

Anonymous, I was thinking the same thing, Obama has a penchant for noble speeches which belie the reality of his draconian policies, especially regarding the unborn.
Mr Alghnam, I wonder if you choose to comment about Obama's policies of promoting sexual promiscuity and perversion through his appointments of homosexuals to key posts. This is prohibited by Islam, Christianity and Judaism. One could hardly expect Muslims to embrace a man with such policies.

Sorry to rain on your witch hunt, but the President did NOT say America was a Muslim country, but, pointed out the truism that has been spoken relative to other groups that it's a big country with a lot of people from a lot of places; same as when someone points out that we're the largest Irish country in the world (44 million v. 5 million in Ireland) or that there are more Jews in Brooklyn than in Tel Aviv.

The President gave a marvelous speech this morning which will be remembered and cherished in American history long after you theocons are forgotten.

AnPlobaire--I proudly call myself Catholic. I am a member of the one, true Church founded by Jesus Christ, and He is my Lord and Savior and the one, true Judge...not American history. He is who I want to be remembered favorably by on Judgment Day.
