Sexual perversion sold to New Jersey teachers by Planned Parenthood

If you want to know what is coming for your school age child in public school sex indoctrination, you need to read this article in "Celebrate Life" magazine.
Among the most disturbing aspects of the conference held in Somerset, NJ, was the attention given to educating younger children, and the disabled child. My daughter does NOT need teachers giving her sex advice. She may never have the capacity to make such moral decisions, and I want her innocence to be respected not violated. Children like Christina are at increased risk for sexual exploitation, and need to be protected, not desensitized to sex talk as this conference recommends.

Another disturbing trend is the promotion of sexual exploitation of minors by adults. Yes, you read that right, and it makes me wonder if the adults who want access to our children are not designing this program in order to ease the grooming of innocent children for sexual assault.
Read this excerpt from a recent article from Celebrate Life.

A resources ad includes the cover image for Unequal Partners: Teaching about Power and Consent in Adult-Teen and Other Relationships, which portrays a muscular man delivering a fist to the ribs of a scrawny child embracing him. PP of Greater Northern New Jersey’s web site says, “This breakthrough manual helps young people make healthy decisions about relationships, especially those involving the power imbalances that can occur when there are significant age differences. 29 interactive lessons to help young people ages 10–17 . . . [e]xamine legal issues, including ‘age of consent,’ in their own state; [k]now the particular risks and issues regarding adult-teen relationships.”

If your child lives in New Jersey, I think Governor Christie would be most responsive to complaints about this conference, he's already the subject of a smear campaign by the teacher's unions on another front,  a sick conference like this, which provided sex education teachers Continuing Education Credits, is one more reason that such unions need to be reigned in. They are corrupting our children, destroying their innocence and urging them to trust Planned Parenthood who makes money off exploiting their sexual promiscuity,  rather than their own parents,  using our tax dollars.  This insanity has gone on long enough, this is one more argument for de-funding this evil organization.
Enough is enough!

Earlier marriage is better

Truly amazing statistics in this article tell us that the Catholic Church was right, morality makes for better marriages. It also reminds us that in this immoral culture, that multiple reltionships greatly increases the risk for sexual promiscuity which hurts marriage. The Church is right again!

Furthermore, there may actually be increased risks associated with delaying marriage to the end of your 20s or into your 30s. In another study conducted in 2004 by the University of Illinois, Evelyn Lehrer suggested that the risk of divorce decreased with each year from the teens to the early twenties, but then the risk reversed and began to increase with each year after the mid-twenties, offsetting the benefits of age and maturity with the accumulation of harmful dating and sexual experiences.*
The best age to get married is between 21 and 25, according to statistics, which makes sense if you consider where most young people are in their lives at that time; finishing college, finding jobs, cars and homes. Before they get too selfish and set in their ways to share life with someone, but after they develop some moral and spiritual maturity. Of course, I am talking about  the devout Catholic young men and women in my parish, who are spiritualy grounded in a relationship with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
Most twenty somethings out there, have no idea what to look for in a spouse, as well as no idea what to do to become a good spouse (live chastely, keep good companions, and walk with God).
Lets help the next generation navigate the pitfalls of the Culture of Death by forming good  Catholic nmarriages open to the gift of children.

Censorship in Norfold Va schools

Try and deny the horrors of slavery or the Holocaust and this would be the MSM headlines. But when two educators gave children in elementary school a small fetal model and described the developing baby in the womb (not abortion just fetal development) they were dismissed. A simple anatomy lesson. PLanned Parenthood gives extremely offensive and graphic anatomy lessons funded by our tax dollars. and no one complains.
What is wrong with children seeing these adorable little baby dolls? We had one for years and Bella used to play with him. We called him "Freddie the fetus". I remember at the Baptism of the daughter of  a large Catholic family, Bella was feeding "Freddie" a cup of milk. A pro-abort woman who was bellyaching about the size of the family who had Baptized their child, observed her and fell silent. And a little child shall lead them. .
What bothers me in this story is the parents reaction to the fetus being shown to their children. If you took a look at the graphic sex and violence they probably permit their children to watch on TV, this fetus is  completely innocuous. Maybe they are post abortive and have guilty consciences.
Parents and other officials at Oakwood Elementary School met for a closed meeting on the matter and were quoted by the Virginian-Pilot expressing disgust at the "human fetus dolls" given to third, fourth, and fifth-grade students, and calling them "entirely inappropriate and unacceptable." Oakwood spokeswoman Elizabeth Thiel Mather told the paper Thursday that the baby figurines were not authorized by the division as instructional materials.

Board member Kirk Houston Sr. reportedly called the tiny models, "Very life like, and it's a pro-life tool," and said that board members were "all pretty dumbfounded" at their distribution.

"As a parent, I choose to teach my children about those things later in life," said one parent. "I did not sign a waiver for my daughter to be given a fetus."

We are approaching a police state, where the truth is suppressed, unless we raise protest over this incident.

Obama's plan to make Americans dependent on government

The Vortex is right, and people from Rush Limbagh to Rick Santorum are saying it; the Obama Administration wants total control over us by helping us surrender to our baser nature.
Sin enslaves, and then when society is in ruins (not far away) then we need government to clean up the mess. There goes our freedom.

The way out of the wicked cycle we find ourselves in

"60% of women who seek abortions tell us that they do so because their birth control has failed. Planned Parenthood knows this. Their push for more federal funding for contraception is insidious at its core, for its very intention is to bring their unsuspecting contraceptive clients back in later in order to increase their abortion busines."
Jen Giroux goes on to contrast this wicked cycle: extra-marital sex, conception, abortion/illigetimate births, more extra-marital sex. . .with the divine plan of God: one man marries one woman for life. Happy children, healthy, happy adults, living in God's grace.
Not much profit in that for Planned Parenthood, which is hard at work obtaining yet more of our tax dollars for their insidious agenda. The Culture of Death.
Someday, I want to write a book called "The Wages of Sin" which details the cost of sinful behavior in America. Not only are 40% of births in America to single mothers, but these children do more poorly in school, requiring more help from the government, are more likely to repeat the same poor behavior which made them miserable. I once learned that 80% of hospital admissions are substance abuse related. And car accidents. And jail terms.
The wages of sin are suffering and eternal death. But there are a lot of indidental costs in between.

Dr Laura defends the Pope on condoms

from her blog
"Yes, in any one instance, a condom could protect, but in the overall scheme of humanity, why do so many people wish to push away the enormous protective power of moral values?

When the Pope suggests that human beings are best off saving their sexual passion for the stability of a covenant of marriage, he is making a statement that the act of sexuality is elevated by the context, and ultimately protects both man and woman from a myriad of hurtful consequences from venereal diseases to unwanted pregnancies (complete with abortions, abandonment, single-parenthood, and homelessness to name a few)."

The woman has a gift and a passion for defending tradtional morality. Her mother was Catholic, a war bride from Italy. She has an understanding of the sacred nature of human sexuality which borders on the Theology of the Body.
Hmm. . .maybe we have a potential convert here.
It happened to Newt.

Condoms, AIDS, and the truth

We have to dig up this debate every time the Holy Father visits Africa. The fact is that condoms promote not prevent AIDS, and only abstinence prevents it, but you will never see a liberal accept that. Read this story in the NY Times. They refuse to be dissuaded from their sexual agenda by the facts. Sigh.

The National Catholic Register blog has the truth about condoms and AIDS.
“Condom promotion in Africa has been a disaster,” Hearst said.
Nearly every country on the continent has vigorously promoted condoms to stem the tide of the AIDS epidemic there. But the epidemic has only grown larger.
Uganda, on the other hand, has experienced the greatest decline in HIV prevalence of any country in the world, according to the Heritage Foundation. The Ugandan public education campaign against AIDS mentioned condoms, but emphasized abstinence."

The consequences of sex education without morality

Twelve year old Alfie has probably heard in his middle school health class that he should express himself sexually, as long as it 'felt right'. He certainly knew how to get his 14 year old girlfriend pregnant. What no one ever told him was that it was morally wrong to be intimate with someone you're not married to.
But the schools aren't the only ones to blame.
Unmarried parents, a chaotic house which is a hangout for pot smokers and a complete lack of supervison complete this sad story of children having children. Birth control and abortion are not the answer. Morality is.
But first the parents have to practice it before they can preach it.
"Josephine Quintavalle of the Pro-Life Alliance said that it was right that no-one should not be prosecuted as the children were “victims of our society”.
”We have to be pleased that they have the courage to resist the temptation to have an abortion because whoever is responsible it is not the child that has been born,” she said.
”Nobody can be happy in thinking that teenagers at a younger and younger age are sexually active.
”We have to drastically rethink our whole attitude to sex education.

”We should have the courage to say to children at this age 'You are too young, don't do it' it is time we woke up to that.”

The Holy Father's Christmas gift to the Church: The Inconvenient Truth

"In thousands of news articles and talk shows around the world today from Bulgaria to India, Pope Benedict XVI is being bashed for daring to say we should care as much for mankind as the tropical rainforests; that the harm caused by going against the Creator's plan for human sexuality is destructive and hurtful. In truth, he is being pilloried for having enough love to tell his brothers and sisters struggling with same-sex attraction, promiscuity, pornography, adultery and more, that their behavior is hurting them and society at large. It is hurting them physically, psychologically, but most importantly - hurting them spiritually. "
Life Site News

When a father sees his beloved children committing moral suicide, he tells them. He tells them, knowing that they most likely will scoff at him, tell him to mind his own business, or possibly get downright abusive in return.
Such has happened to our beloved Pope Benedict in return for his wisdom on the sins of the flesh, which Our Lady of Fatima told the children a century ago, led more people to hell than any other. He is speaking the truth in love. And because truth is so obscured by the mainstream press, and hated by the world, the virulent reaction should as no surprise to us. It merely indicates the necessity of the warning; if we continue to spit at God's gift of married love, through extra marital sexual relations, we are sowing the seeds of not only our own destruction, but the downfall of Western Civilization. It happened to Rome.

And about the rainforests; they come under the same category as the liberal hypocrisy about smoking; these are mere distractions to make them seem morally righteous while they destroy their lives through promiscuity. And those of the poorly catechized Catholics who follow their lead. If you are dying of AIDS, quitting smoking won't save you, but a good confession will prepare you for eternity. That's why Mother Teresa and Cardinal O'Connor set up the first AIDS hospice in New York City in the 80's. Catholics not only speak the truth in love, but we pick up the pieces afterward when our brothers and sisters are suffering the physical, spiritual, and emotional devastation of disobeying God's laws. Cardinal O'Connor also set up a religious order, the Sisters of Life, to care for mothers in crisis pregnancies, and for victims of "choice", those suffering the trauma of post abortion syndrome.

Gay bashers we are not. Fr Paul Harvey and Fr Benedict Groeschel have organized "Courage" to help those with same-sex attraction overcome their addiction and lead chaste, happy lives full of wholesome relationships with man and God.

God bless Pope Benedict and the leaders of the Catholic Church and Pastor Rick Warren for daring to speak the truth on this crucial issue of our times. Let's do our best to support them in their mission to save humanity from itself, on the very feast of the birth of our Blessed Saviour.

Fight AIDS in Uganda with Catholic teachings:NO WAY!

It seems that the forces of the Culture of Death hates a Catholic success story. It reminds me of the Spanish diplomat's line in "The Mission", regarding the conomic success of the missions, "IF you wanted the approval of the state, you should have produced a noble failure".
No, the Catholic Church has made Uganda the lowest HIV infected nation in African, without condoms and condoning fornication, so the pro-death camp had to undermine their efforts, lest their unsuccessful condom distribution look foolish by comparison.
"We understand that casual sex is dear to you, but staying alive is dear to us. Listen to African wisdom, and we will show you how to prevent AIDS."
Sam L. Ruteikara wrote in the Washington Post that efforts to maintain the world's most successful AIDS prevention programme was "sabotaged" by precisely those Western "experts" who insisted that only condoms would work.
Ruteikara is the co-chair of Uganda's National AIDS-Prevention Committee. He wrote in a column in the Washington Post on June 30, "AIDS epidemics in Africa are driven by people having sex regularly with more than one person." The Western experts, dedicated to the exclusive promotion of condoms, were incensed when Ugandan AIDS rates plummeted with this "ABC" method that left condoms as a "last resort".
Ruteikara nailed it, the Westerners were more interested in promoting promiscuity than preventing deaths.
We have the same problem here in the public schools, with Planned Parenthood's 'safe sex' programs are nothing but marketing campaigns to keep their abortion mills making big money.

Pregnancy Pact in a state which refuses abstinence edcuation

from the Family Research Council
Despite the angst over fuel prices and the presidential race, rumors of a high school pregnancy pact are stealing headlines in America's largest newspapers and prompting more parents to question what public education is teaching their children about sex. During the 2007-08 school year, Joseph Sullivan, the principal of Massachusetts' Gloucester High School (GHS), noticed a serious spike in the number of girls who became pregnant during the school year. In an interview with Time, he admitted that the teen pregnancy rate had quadrupled at GHS, and he suspected that a group of sophomore girls agreed to "get pregnant and raise their babies together.

"While the media is consumed with whether or not such a pact exists, the story raises far more troubling issues about the school's message on sexuality. If these students never struck an agreement, as Gloucester's Mayor Carolyn Kirk insists, we can presume at the very least that these 16-year-old girls thought it was acceptable to be sexually active and become pregnant. And why wouldn't they? GHS's own policy encourages it. The school offers free on-site daycare for teen moms so that students can bring their babies to school. It also teaches "comprehensive" sex education to students in the ninth grade, just in time for high school. If the school is bending over backward to accommodate teen mothers and encouraging the promiscuity that leads to it, these girls would have no choice but to assume that premarital sex and motherhood are acceptable social norms.

Sarah Brown of the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy said, "This is not a story about sex education." Of course it is! It just happens to be a story that liberals are trying to hide, as it confirms--once again--the failure of comprehensive sex education. Planned Parenthood celebrated when Gov. Deval Patrick (D) refused the federal funds for abstinence programs in Massachusetts schools. Had he accepted the grant and encouraged schools like GHS to use it to teach sexual restraint, the storyline in this storied fishing village might have been different. Instead schools like Gloucester insist on promoting promiscuity over abstinence in direct contradiction of the wishes of 78 percent of parents (as expressed in a 2007 Zogby poll)

Like us, these parents don't understand what's wrong with telling kids to simply say "no." Isn't that the message we give them on other dangerous activities like drug and alcohol use? We tell them not to smoke. And unlike sex education, we don't hand them filters and say "If you're going to light up, smoke safely." Now that public schools are starting to reap what they've sown with the "just do it" mentality, states are scrambling to accommodate kids and their poor decision-making. On teen sex, it's time to stop treating the problem and start preventing it with the only birth control that is 100% effective--abstinence.

Pope Benedict on the Lies of Sex Education

The modern pro-choice movement is the spawn of the "sexual revolution" of the 1960's, in which a few million angry college students abandoned traditional norms of decency and the marriage bond.
In its place they proposed a culture of what they termed "free love," which turned out to be a euphemism for unbridled lust; sex without responsibility or commitment. As the world has since seen, sex without responsibility is sex without love. The "free love" of these sexual revolutionaries turned out to be not so free at all, but rather was emotionally and physically destructive on a grand scale.
The sex education establishment denies all this. With typically modern schizophrenia, they aggressively advertise sexuality as a no-strings-attached recreational activity, while at the same time spending all of their time warning against the risks of this behavior. Having never known the wonder of committed, life-giving conjugal love, its adherents are passing on the only knowledge of sexuality that they do know: sex as a momentarily diverting activity with an alarming collection of risks.Consequently, says Benedict, sex is taught as risk management. The wonder and beauty of conjugal love is reduced to a series of don'ts: Don't get a sexually transmitted disease, don't get overly attached to your temporary "partner," and, above all, don't get pregnant.
This reminds me of Dr. Ruth Westheimer, the sex guru of the 80's, who said, "Swing from the chandelier, but remember, use birth control!"
Thank God for the Theology of the Body which is catching hold among young Catholic abstinence educators, particularly here at The Rise of the TOB blog. Young people want more than the lies of the 1960's which sadly, was often promoted by misled Catholic educators.
