Ella, the new abortion pill

from Students for Life

Have you heard about the new abortion pill, "ella"?
If you haven't, you will soon.

While being billed as merely a contraceptive, "ella" actually goes a lot further than preventing contraception from occuring as it can actually terminate the life of an existing human embryo, an abortion!

Women can take the drug up to 5 days after intercourse, well after a new human life has been created. Because "ella" blocks the progesterone receptors needed for the continued development of the human embryo, the pill causes an abortion if taken after conception occurs.

This makes "ella" an abortion not a contraceptive drug, plain an simple.
Two weeks ago, the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) Advisory Committee for Reproductive Health Drugs approved "ella" for sale within the United States, calling it a mere contraceptive. The drug now goes before the FDA for final approval in a few short weeks.

In order to help spread the word about "ella", the new abortion drug, SFLA has launched a new website, www.ellacausesabortions.com, in an effort to let President Obama know that pro-life Americans won't be fooled by the FDA and their mislabeling of drugs.

Earlier marriage is better

Truly amazing statistics in this article tell us that the Catholic Church was right, morality makes for better marriages. It also reminds us that in this immoral culture, that multiple reltionships greatly increases the risk for sexual promiscuity which hurts marriage. The Church is right again!

Furthermore, there may actually be increased risks associated with delaying marriage to the end of your 20s or into your 30s. In another study conducted in 2004 by the University of Illinois, Evelyn Lehrer suggested that the risk of divorce decreased with each year from the teens to the early twenties, but then the risk reversed and began to increase with each year after the mid-twenties, offsetting the benefits of age and maturity with the accumulation of harmful dating and sexual experiences.*
The best age to get married is between 21 and 25, according to statistics, which makes sense if you consider where most young people are in their lives at that time; finishing college, finding jobs, cars and homes. Before they get too selfish and set in their ways to share life with someone, but after they develop some moral and spiritual maturity. Of course, I am talking about  the devout Catholic young men and women in my parish, who are spiritualy grounded in a relationship with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.
Most twenty somethings out there, have no idea what to look for in a spouse, as well as no idea what to do to become a good spouse (live chastely, keep good companions, and walk with God).
Lets help the next generation navigate the pitfalls of the Culture of Death by forming good  Catholic nmarriages open to the gift of children.

We must fight Kagan

One of the most embarassing moments of the Clinton Administration was not the Lewinsky scandal, it was when Republicans in the Senate approved the most radical nominee to the Supreme Court up till that time, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a radical leftist ACLU attorney with 99 votes.
Maybe she was a shoe-in, but Republicans owed us more than to approve a radical pro-abortion judge without a fight. At least let the vote be along party lines. Maybe a disaffected Democrat or two will make this into a real battle, after all, the tide is turning against Obama.
Let your Senators know they must not shame us again with Elena Kagan, who comes from the Clinton Administration. Read about her extreme pro-abortion views below. She fits perfectly with abortion at all costs Obama, and for that reason alone, we can't roll over and hand her the nomination. Someday, when this country comes to its senses and condemns abortion for the crime against humanity which it is, history will harshly judge those who said, "Abortion is established law, what can we do about it?"
Slavery had existed for milennia when it was outlawed in Europe and the US. That didn't make it right.

The Media Research Center asks;
Do you feel like you know enough about Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan to decide if she is fit to serve as a lifetime appointee on the highest court in the land?

Click here to read the complete MRC special report: Media Blackout of SupremeCourt "Battle".

Most people don’t, because the left-wing media have done a good job hiding what little we do know about her.

The Elena Kagan hearings began today, and few Americans are aware of her radical views on the Second Amendment, abortion, crime control, marriage rights, international law and many other critical issues.

Papers released by the William J. Clinton Library reveal Kagan’s belief that partial birth abortion needs to remain legal as the only certain way to protect the “health of women.” This is wildly out of the mainstream, and proves her commitment to a radical pro-abortion position.

Catholics need not apply to this hospital

Today my daughter and I faced religious discrimination beacause of our Catholic faith in a Northestern Connecticut community hospital. She was denied access to a summer  internship because of our religious objections to a vaccine.
The Varicella vaccine which not only contains the cells of an aborted baby, is dangerous, just read the research below has been linked to autism and increased occurance of shingles. We had objected to the vaccine on relgious grounds. This was accepted by her Catholic high school, and by the public school of my youngest daughter. They have to; it's the law in 49 of 50 states. I listened to the testimony before Congress of those who wanted the vaccine mandated by the Department of Health; their reason was when children have chicken pox, they must be isolated for two weeks, and this causes an undue burden on working women. Not a health based reason, mind you, but a reason based on convenience.
We have to accept a vaccine which violates our religious tenets of the value of human life, and accept a risk of autism, whose rates spiked in 1988, the very year the shot was introduced, so that some working women don't have to miss two weeks of work to care for a sick child. Unbelievalbe!
My bright and compassionate 17 year old daughter who is on the honor roll, president of her senior class, is considering a career as an RN, a field which is facing a severe shortage, was just turned down for a coveted internship because of her Catholic faith. What will happen to the nursing profession if such young people are all excluded? Will be only accept candidates who are willing to compromise their moral convictions and stand by while atrocities are being committed? Will they have to participate in assisted suicide and abortions? In some states, the answer is already yes, and under Obamacare, there are NO conscience protections for health care workers.
Here is what the Pontifical Academy of Life has to say about this issue:\
Catholic parents who want to take the moral high ground and not vaccinate their children with tainted vaccines certainly have the right to do so. The Pontifical Academy for Life (PLA) in 2005 told Catholics that they have “a grave responsibility to use alternative vaccines and to make a conscientious objection with regard to those which have moral problems.”

But how often do you hear of a Catholic telling their physician they do not intend to vaccinate their children because of the moral problems of vaccines produced with the tissue from voluntarily aborted babies?

The PLA further stated that just because these vaccines are lawful to use does not let a Catholic off the hook either. In fact, we are either passively or actively supporting the original evil act of abortion when we knowingly choose to use these tainted vaccines and do not express our outrage each time:

The Protect Life Act

from Brian Burch at Catholic Vote.org
Last month a broad coalition of pro-life Democrats and Republicans introduced the “Protect Life Act,” a new bill that would remove all abortion funding from the new healthcare law. The bill would also create critical conscience protections for doctors and health care workers.

So every Catholic group is supporting this new proposal, right?

Well, we aim to make sure they do -- starting with the Catholic Health Association.

Sign our petition here  urging the Sister Carol Keehan and the CHA to support this new bill!

You remember the Catholic Health Association? They are the group, along with NETWORK, who publicly lobbied Catholic legislators and urged passage of the health care legislation. They independently concluded that the bill did not cover abortion, and deserved the full support of all Catholics.

But not everyone agreed with CHA.

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, along with CatholicVote.org worked vigorously to block the bill. We opposed the entire healthcare bill – not only because it opened the door to taxpayer funding for abortion, but also because we believe a government-first approach to soaring health care problems will only make things worse.

CHA’s bold disregard for the Catholic bishops has caused a regrettable division in the Church, and continued this week with the Bishops affirming their position, while CHA publicly affirmed their own. In fact, President Obama recently delivered a special video message at CHA’s annual convention to thank them for their work.

So it’s time to act. It’s time to call CHA out for their purposeful confusion and refusal to acknowledge the clear problems with the new healthcare law.

This week I signed my name to a group letter calling on the Catholic Health Association to publicly support the recently proposed Protect Life Act. The group letter was organized by the Susan B. Anthony List and contains the names of pro-life leaders across the country.

Sister Carol Keehan needs to hear from you too! Sign our petition here.

The Protect Life Act represents a genuine bipartisan effort to ensure that no taxpayer funds will be used for abortion or abortion related services, and would add needed conscience protections for healthcare workers. The rest of the bill remains untouched.

As you know, Catholics had strong opinions on the healthcare bill. In fact, a recent Zogby poll reported that only 33% of Catholics support the law, while 66% of Catholics oppose it.

But Catholics are even more united behind this foundational principle: No federal funding for abortion. Or at least Catholics should be united.

Is CHA with us or not?

That’s why it’s very important for you to get your friends and family to sign this petition. No matter where any Catholic group stood on the healthcare debate, all Catholics must agree that federal funding for abortion has no place in our nation’s laws, and no doctor or health care worker should be forced to participate in unethical or immoral procedures.
Sign our petition now! Urge Sr. Keehan and the CHA to support the Protect Life Act.

The dollars and sense of social problems

This is the article which I  have been waiting for; and its from Phyllis Schlafly of course. Those who consider themselves fiscal conservatives but want the Republican Party to drop it's platform supporting family values  do not know what they are talking about; you cannot divorce social problems from the finanical crisis we find ourselves in. There is a reason millions of single mothers depend on the government to support their chilidren; our government has been undermining marriage and personal responsibility for generations.
The costs in dollars of supporting, ediucating, disciplining the children abandoned by their fathers is crippling the economy, and leading to the ruin of Western society. President Bush's attempts to encourage marriage were met with a liberal chorus of complaint. How dare he impose marriage on American women!
Marriage which has tragically been eschewed by increasing numbers of women who are having babies without marrying their 'fiances' (new term for boyfriend who is sticking around for a while but not willing to marry the mother of his children). They are sowing the seeds for their own destruction, but they don't know it.
Marriage is a gift of God to women and children, without it, they face the worst society has to offer; penury, loneliness, abuse and neglect. Men fare better in marriage as well, they live longer and behave better, but no fault divorce and changing societal mores have decimated their role.
Schlafly said,
"The decline of marriage is not only the biggest social problem America faces today, but it's also government's biggest financial problem."

It goes for those who tried to do the right thing, but found themselves single parents against their will.
Look at the case of my friend Kristin whose ex-husband has appeared in court for three years, without paying one penny of child support for his ten children, who face foreclosure, yet he boldly demands his rights to see his children while welfare supports them. He lies repeatedly about his income and so far he had not been arrested for non payment of over $70,000 of child support. He works for the Census, but the government can't garnish his wages. He is the worst deadbeat dad I have ever seen, yet nothing is done by the courts. They side with him, and call the struggling mother unfit, putting her on trial.
If my friend weren't the upstanding Catholic mother she is, those children could be at great risk to be high school dropouts who are getting pregnant, taking drugs, and committing crimes. Instead, her son is entering the North American College to study for the priesthood, and her next oldest is in college, working as a grave digger to help support his family as he completes college two years early. She has homeschooled them so well that the boys entered college at 15 knowing Latin and Greek. Her younger children are innocent, faithful Catholics who are living well in what is truly an abyssmal situation.Kristin is a hero the likes of which are rarely seen today. My hat is off to her. Watch a documentary about this family here.
The single mother I saw last night at the movies smoked cigarettes with her boyfriends hands all over her while her three toddlers ran around the parking lot at 9PM. She barely noticed them, she was so intent on having her emotional needs met. In two years, these children will most likely be wreaking havoc in their elementary school and there will be school psychologists putting letter after their name to explain what happened to them by lack of parenting. I saw it as a teacher whose high school students had a third grade reading level and sold crack for a living. When I attempted to contact their parents, whoever answered the phone didn't even recognize the child's name. This is the tragic legacy of single parenthood. These children will be raised by the state at our expense.
Norway recognizes this cost, a mother is paid $400 a month to stay home with her children, since that nation recognizes the role of mothers in preventing costly social chaos. Rather than pay mother to stay, let us keep our money, give us tax breaks for doing the right thing and raising our own children to be responsible citizens, caring for their famlies, studying and learning professsions. Let us keep our Judeo-Christian morality which teaches us how to treat others with respect and control our baser impulses. This happens within the context of the family, and if Republicans cannot realize it, they would better off becoming Democrats who leave responsiblity to Big Brother.

Catholic Health Association Sr Keehan defiant to Cardinal George reprimand

Even though Cardinal George reprimanded the CHA CEO for making  pro-abortion Obamacare possible. Sr Keehan is unprepentant, sticking a finger in the eye of the Cardinal by reaffirming her support of Obamacare.
Well, bishops, the time for definitive action is here. Will you respond?
Strip CHA of the term "Catholic", and Sr Keehan of her religious status. She has exommunicated herself by becoming an accomplice to milliions of abortions. May God have mercy on her! Here is her statement.
Once fully enacted, we are confident that the Affordable Care Act will provide access to more affordable insurance products and a greater sense of security for over 32 million people in this country that current lack these protections.

And to deny life to millions of children of the poor. This is a great source of scandal in the Church, that a sister using the name "Catholic" made this travesty possible.

UPDATE: Ms Osman, a USCCB official is denying that Cardinal George cricized Sr Keehan, blaming CNA for mispreporting. The lockstep liberals in the room, NCR, America, Commonweal are supporting Ms Osman who says Cardinal George did NOT criticize Sr Keehan for supporting Obamacare.
The only way to resolve this dispute is by releasing recordings of the conversation, NOT transcripts.
Cardinal George, tell us what you said, please, stand by your brave position in correcting Sr Keehan!!

Hard economy doesn't touch Planned Parenthood; thanks to Obama

But that is what he promised them, isn't it? Rather than making "FOCA my first priority", Obama has given nearly 1 BILLION to the abortion industry, with the largest recipient being Planned Parenthood, which is currently under criminal investigation in several states.
"With all of the accusations of criminal conduct now circulating against PP organizations nationwide, it is unconscionable for the tax payer to be forced to foot this outrageous bill for their questionable activities," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman.

Obama has accomplished FOCA by stealth on the ruins of our economy and on the backs of our children's children. Just as he promised.

How to legislate electoral fraud:DISCLOSE

The pundits have been saying it, and so have the polls. The Dems are poo-pooing it, but they are worried. They are going to lose big this Novemeber if last month's primaries where pro-life women were victorious are any indication. So, what's a Dem to do when faced with defeat?
Muzzle your opponents. No, we can't openly suppress free speech in the US, at least not yet, but we can hamper pro-family organizations with so many oppressive and complex regulations that their message will not get out to the grassroots.
The bill forces groups, including most 501(c)4, 501(c)5, 501(c)6, and 527 groups, to comply with what pro-life groups call “onerous” reporting requirements. These would disclose the donors and members of their organizations, and frustrate the ability of grassroots entities to communicate effectively with the public about public policy.

“There is no principle embodied in this legislation other than crude political advantage. They are trying to temporarily disable their critics,” Douglas Johnson, Legislative Director for the National Right to Life Committee, told LifeSiteNews.com (LSN).

The Word Made Flesh; Long Island Catholic Writer's Conference

I arrived on Long Island last night in time for a special pre-conference meeting of Catholic writers, including Rick Hinshaw, editor of The Long Island Catholic, Dr Gerry Nadal, author of the pro-life blog Coming Home, and writer and Random House editor Gary Jansen Gary Jansen who is the author of The Rosary: A Journey to the Beloved and Exercising Your Soul: Fifteen Minutes a Day to a Spiritual Life,Gary, who publishes the books of Scott Hahn, told us about what the publishing industry is looking for; authentic new voices. He ended the evening with a closing prayer which invoked the Holy Spirit on all the participants.
Gabbi and I came away so excited by the enthusiasm (which Gary told us means "with the spirit") of the participants who are on fire with their desire to serve the cause of the New Evangelization through their writing. I enjoyed meeting my favorite new blogger Dr Gerard Nadal, who has a PhD in microbiology and is an outspoken and foreful advocate for the Church teaching on life issues. Dr Nadal describes his approach as based on the facts on the disatrous effects of promiscuity, and then he aims the facts straight into the hearts of his audience, leaving them completly floored, and ripe for conversion. I look forward to chatting with him again this Saturday at The Word Made Flesh Catholic Writer's Conference at the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Huntington. His powerful intellect, his unswerving faith are the perfect balance for an authentic New York Italian sense of humor. He is the Italian Bill Donohue.

The Pill is poison for women

This article by expert Dr Janet Smith details the destructive history of the Pill. Nothing has done more to destroy women's happiness, health and esteem in only fifty years. The Pill not only causes cancer, changes women's bodies, and damages the environment, it destroys lives.

As a result of our sexually out-of-control culture, we have an abysmally unhappy and wounded populace. Certainly the men and women in and out of sexual relationships, carrying and sharing incurable sexually transmitted infections, suffering heartbreak and desolation, and enduring abortions are dreadfully wounded by their sexual behavior.

Motherhood is not allowed at Women Deliver Conference

Women Deliver is proported to be a conference which promotes safety in childbirth. Yet, when a pariticipating group passed out pink bags which said "Celebrate Motherhood" they were collected and thrown away.
 So much for free speech.
Volunteers with the National Right to Life Committee (NRLC) spent about an hour on the sidewalk outside the Walter E. Washington Convention Center handing out pink “Celebrate Motherhood!” bags to conference participants. The bags included a small fetal model and some basic statistics comparing legal abortion and maternal mortality rates.

But pro-lifers learned that the bags were being confiscated by conference organizers inside the building.
One attendee who received a bag told LifeSiteNews.com (LSN) that she was interrogated in an intimidating manner by an organizer who said that "you need to throw away" any pink bag handed out by the "anti-woman" demonstrators, because "they're trying to ruin our conference."

However, one pro-life volunteer said that the aggressive approach taken by conference staff may have been for the better: when attendees, including UN delegates, asked about the confiscated material in clear plastic bags, they were told by pro-lifers that the materials could not be handed out because "they don't want you to have this information."

Victory for the true feminists!

It was such an exciting day yesterday to hear about how an authentic feminist, Sarah Palin, a woman who cleaned up corruption in Alaska, bucked the establishment both that of corrupt male politicians AND corrupt, pro-death feminists who say you can't be pro-life and powerful.
WRONG!
Women (and men) finally have a choice when it comes to female candidates. Carly Fiorino has the business acumen AND the pro-life credentials to make her a principled, COMPTETENT candidate to root our corruption, overspending and pro-death Senators.

Bye, Bye Boxer!

MOTHER TERESA TRIBUTE DENIED

Anthony Malkin, owner of the Empire State Building, released a statement today saying, "As a privately owned building, ESB has a specific policy against any other lighting for religious figures or requests by religions and religious organizations."

Commenting is Catholic League president Bill Donohue:

Malkin is either misinformed or he is lying. Here's the proof: When John Cardinal O'Connor died in 2000, the Empire State Building was lighted in red and white; in 2005, when Pope John Paul II died, the tower lights were extinguished in his honor; also in 2005, the tower was aglow in yellow, red and blue in tribute to the 125th anniversary of the Salvation Army; and every year the colors red, black and green are lit in memory of Rev. Martin Luther King. In other words, there is no policy barring religious figures or organizations from being honored.

When I applied to the Empire State Building on February 2, I received a phone call from Nicole Grzywacz, Public Relations and Events Coordinator, saying the application had been received. She never indicated there was any policy which would prohibit my request. Indeed, when I spoke to her assistant, Stacy Ann, she never implied that there was a problem.

Malkin has made his decision to stiff Catholics. I have made mine: We will call off our petition drive, but we will go forward with our demonstration outside the Empire State Building on August 26. His decision to double down at this juncture—in the face of massive support for our request—is something he will regret for the rest of his life.

Donohue not crazy over Lady Gaga

Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on Lady Gaga's newly released music video, "Alejandro":

Lady Gaga is playing Madonna copy cat, squirming around half-naked with half-naked guys, abusing Catholic symbols—they're always Catholic symbols—while bleating out "Alejandro" enough times to induce vomit. Dressed occasionally as a nun in a glossy-red habit, the Madonna wannabe flashes the cross, swallows a rosary and manages to get raped by her S&M boyfriends. Hence, she has now become the new poster girl for American decadence and Catholic bashing, sans the looks and talent of her role model.

Like Madonna, Lady Gaga was raised Catholic and then morphed into something unrecognizable. "So I suppose you could say I'm a quite religious woman that is very confused about religion," she told Larry King last week.
That she is confused is an understatement. In any event, we hope she finds her way back home. In the meantime, Catholics will settle for her treating us like Muslims.
See an article on USA Today describing her new video. Warning; graphic sexual descriptions.
I have been warning teens about Lady Gaga for years, there is no talent she has which is worth the disgusting sexual perversion and blasphemy of her videos. I fought to have her posters taken from my daughter's Catholic high school classrooms. Both of her English teachers are big fans and were promoting her recent concert in CT. The sisters who run the school were clueless about the vile nature of Lady Gaga.
One of the teachers had her posters up all over the room, proclaiming "I AM Lady Gaga". One of he better students wore fishnet stockings to school and danced on a chair to Lady Gaga music for the other teacher's birthday. How can an educated woman be so blind as to encourage young women to listen to this vile trash?
When our complaints had the principal request she remove the posters from around the room, she told the students it was the parent's fault. She still doesn't see the problems with Lady Gaga. She will never teach my daughters.

Keep Out Kagan Day is June 8

from Students for Life (my comments are italicized)

Please sign the petition at
 http://www.iopposekagan.com/

With the confirmation hearings quickly approaching, we need every signature possible to block this advancement of choice on the Supreme Court Bench. If you have signed the petition already, the next step is asking friends and family to not only sign the petition, but to participate tomorrow in Keep Out Kagan Day.

President Obama's nomination of Elena Kagan for Supreme Court Justice is another blow for the pro-life community. Even though Solicitor General Kagan does not have judicial record, experts have found some alarming information about her beliefs on abortion.
Well, look who nominated her, do we need to know more?
Kagan's appointment to the Supreme Court is not an even trade for the unborn. Her appointment could mean 30 more years of legalized abortion. With approximately 1.3 million abortions performed annually, 30 more years of abortion will cost us 39 million unborn lives.
This seems to be the unspoken goal of the Obama administration. It's the only area where he was successful.

True feminists are pro-life; Sarah Palin and Michelle Duggar

Conservababes Michelle Duggar and Sarah Palin are throwing their support behind pro-life feminist Congressional Candidate Cecile Bledsoe in Arkansas, according to this article in Jill Stanek. com
Here is Michelle Duggar's robocall in support of Bledsoe.

That's why I am supporting Cecile Bledsoe for Congress. Cecile understands the importance of protecting children before and after they are born. Cecile has stood up for life in the AR state senate and earned a 100% voting record with AR Right to Life.

They are causing an outcry among Gloria Steinem vintage, committed pro-death feminists. How anachronistic!
True feminists know that women are respected when they are allowed to fulfill themselves as mothers and not forced to choose between fertility and success.
Between them, Sarah Palin and Michelle Duggar have 24 children.
Does any one not recognize their names?

Do stem cells in vaccines cause autism?

SCPI Study on Aborted Fetal DNA in Vaccines Presented at International Meeting for Autism Research

(Seattle, Washington) Sound Choice Pharmaceutical Institute's (SCPI) founder and lead scientist, Dr Theresa Deisher, presented their ongoing study into the possible link between aborted fetal DNA in several childhood immunizations with Autism and Austim Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at the International Meeting for Autism Research in Philadelphia, PA May 20-22, 2010.

The study which was met with both shock and gratitude for her work, focused on "improper integration of the residual DNA as a possible contributor to autism, particularly in genetically susceptible infants."

"It is known from gene therapy studies that injected naked DNA can be transported to the brain (Wang et al. 2001); that improperly integrated therapeutic DNA has caused cancer in young children (Hacein-Bey-Abina et al. 2008); and that shorter DNA fragments have a higher probability of entering the nucleus [of the cells] (Lechardeur et al. 2002)", noted Dr Theresa whose company recently received a $500,000 grant from the Murdock foundation for their research.

Dr Deisher, along with Principal Scientist, Dr Marissa LaMadrid are investigating whether improper insertion of DNA into the vaccine recipient cells can cause autism. Four major areas of the research involve:

(1) measuring the amount and length distribution of residual human DNA in vaccines;

(2) predicting sites of DNA insertion via homologous recombination (HR) and measure insertion rates;

(3) modeling how brain cell function might be affected, either via loss of the ability to make proper connections or via selective growth of cells with improperly integrated DNA at the expense of healthy cells;

(4) conducting epidemiology studies comparing autism rates in children injected with vaccines containing human DNA residuals.

The results reported thus far were startling, to say the least.

"Changepoint analysis of autism disorder demonstrates a temporal correlation with events associated with human DNA residuals in vaccines. The levels of residual DNA are well over FDA-recommended limits", stated Dr Deisher. "Meruvax-II contains >140ng/vial ssDNA and >30ng/vial dsDNA, with average lengths of 215bp. Havrix contains >270ng/vial ssDNA and >30ng/vial dsDNA. The FDA-recommended amounts are 10ng/dose."

While research has been conducted in the past on a possible link between thimerosal and autism, no one has ever looked at the contaminating DNA, something requested for years by Children of God for Life, a pro-life watchdog focused on the use of aborted fetal material in vaccines, medicines and other consumer products.

"Until the advent of AVM Biotechnology and their non-profit arm SCPI we had little hope that anyone would invest the time and money to do this study", stated Children of God for Life's founder, Debi Vinnedge.

"Dr Deisher's work is a blessing to hundreds of thousands of families, if not millions worldwide. She is a direct answer to our prayers for a biotech company focused solely on moral research and ethically produced vaccines and therapeutics."

Mother Teresa protest moves to next step

Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on Day 15 of the protest campaign on behalf of Mother Teresa:

Today I am writing to every Catholic elementary school in the Archdiocese of New York, the Diocese of Brooklyn and the Diocese of Rockville Centre informing them of our protest demonstration on August 26 outside the Empire State Building on 34th Street and 5th Avenue.
The rally is being held to protest the decision of Anthony Malkin, the owner of the storied building, not to overrule those who have chosen to deny a tribute to Mother Teresa: our request to have the towers shine blue and white, the colors of her congregation, on August 26th, the 100th anniversary of her birthday, was denied without explanation. Yet the same persons who chose to stiff Mother Teresa decided to honor the Chinese Communist revolution last year, even though 77 million innocent men, women and children were murdered under Mao Zedong. By contrast, the U.S. Postal Service is honoring Mother Teresa with a commemorative stamp.

Everyone is being asked to pass the word about our demonstration and to join us that evening. They are also being asked to write to Anthony Malkin.

His address is
