I just can't stand how Vatican II was manipulated and abused. And I can't stand to think that I took part in these abuses at one point in my Catholic life, liturgical abuses that promoted an agenda that was not the Church's and ultimately not Christ's. Yikes! Don't feel badly, after my initial horror at the disrespect I saw in this means of receiving, I was a victim of bad theology and did it myself for a few years. . . I'm over it. I genuflect and receive my Lord on the tongue. If I have an altar rail, I prefer kneeling. I'm just afraid I won't be able to get up if I kneel in the Communion line!
