I wondered in 2002 whether Senator Brownback's conversion to Catholicism, a choice his wife and children have not yet made, would hurt him politicallyso, I sent him a 'welcome to our Church" card to show my support. I know he's not the type to base important personal decisions on political expediency. Therefore, this type of blatant bigotry is inexcusable!I support Senator Brownback, because of his positions on life issues, and his moral character, NOT his religion. There is an ever-increasing list of Catholics I would never vote for, like Rudy Guiliani!
