Dumbledore; The Gay 'Father Figure'

Years ago, when JK Rowlings was asked if she was concerned about the effect that her "Harry Potter" series had on children, she responded coldly that it wasn't her problem.

And you trusted your children's imaginations with this woman?
OK, here it comes. . .I told you so.

Certainly, Rowling's comment was highly irresponsible. The commentary on this by Fr. Andrew Byrne on MercatorNet is helpful.
