John Kerry to speak at Catholic University

Notorious pro-abortion Senator John Kerry is scheduled to speak at Catholic University of American in Washington, DC. You can call the University Office of Public Affairs at (202)319-5600 to protest this outrage.
Call (301)853-4500 to protest this scandal, or email Archbishop Donal Wuerl at chancery@adw.org to implore him to refuse to tolerate this man, who has sold his soul to the Culture of Death!
Catholic Culture has a summary of Catholic universities' honoring pro-abortion politicians. Here is a quote, The bishops writein their document:Catholics in Political Life, "The Catholic community and Catholic institutions should not honor those who act in defiance of our fundamental moral principles. They should not be given awards, honors or platforms which would suggest support for their actions."

I'm sorry, but I don't think that emailing Archbishop Wuerl will do any help. Archbishop Wuerl is one of the most liberal archbishops in the United States. To further his track record it was him who wanted to democratize the USCCB, but thanks be to God for Bishop Emeritus of Corpus Christi Rene Gracida and Fr. Patrick Serna of Chorpus Christ it was stoped.

As a CUA alum, I'm concerned about CUA's press coming from stupid kids -- on hotshot College Democrat, and the excessively poor reporting of our campus newspaper The Tower, reporting as fact what was only being explored as a possibility. True, USPCE approved Kerry, but USPCE is by no means the last authority, and higherups than that small body were highly disgruntled by the whole thing but could do nothing because nothing was technically formally happening.

I wrote a post on this topic over at my blog.
