I made up this quiz on the Baltimore Catechism: Try it and test your knowlege

Do You Know Your Baltimore Catechism? I made up this quiz after getting 100% on the Bible quiz, then checking the top quiz list, and seeing that there were no Catholic quizzes there (and some horrendous ones on the occult and sex). Thanks to savy, well-catechized Catholics, like you,"Do You Know Your Baltimore Catechism?" has made it to the top 40 quizzes!Well done!
You are a 100% traditional Catholic!

Congratulations! You are more knowlegeable than most modern theologians! You have achieved mastery over the most important doctrines of the Catholic Faith! You should share your incredible understanding with others!

I got 100%!

Honestly though I've never read or even seen a Baltimore Catechism so I'm quite surprised at my results. I do however own and read the new Catechism.

It was such a great quiz, so funny too. I especially liked the part about the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and how it enables the Church to hold Bingo in the auditorium. Lol!

Congratulations, Eve! You are already catechizing through your wonderful blog. Seems when we defend our faith, we learn it better. I know I learned a lot preparing for the frequent visits of Jehovah's Witnesses to my door.

This also proves a point I tried to make to our diocesan Religious Education Director: the theology of the Baltimore Catechism is NOT outdated, it can be found, in updated terms in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. I just find the Baltimore's question and answer format and instructional illustrations helpful for homeschooling my daughters. Of course, we do the "Faith and Life" series to flesh out the teachings, and add more Scriptural context.
Looking at Gabby's score on the Bible quiz on my other blog,Cause of Our Joy (see link in sidebar)tells me this is a winning combination!

Thanks for the quiz, Leticia. I got 100% too. It was fun. I love your multiple choice answers too. My favorite was indulgence= "eating double chocolate ice cream from the carton".

This quiz is all over the Catholic blogosphere. How fun to take it (I got a 99%) and then, to find out that you were the author! Too cool.

I got 100%. No thanks to the CCD teachers who taught me from the Fuzzy Wuzzy Jesus Loves You Books.

That 100% is completely due to my grandmother, the wise priests I have worked with, and my own study.

I got a 94, but would have done a lot worse if I took everything my teachers told me as truth.

BMP (Confirmed in 1979)

I got a 99. I may not have picked the optimal answer for "What is confirmation?" When I was going through it, they used all the answers except 'getting out of CCD' as partial explanations.
I don't know how bad the provided education was, but on Sundays, at least, I was a bad student.
Guess I've still got a little catching up to do.

Isn't the new Compendium in the same format as the Baltimore Catechism?

I scored 98, though I'm not a Catholic. Loved the test! :-D
(Dying to hear the right answers that would give a 100!)
