Anyway, I really loved this movie because it's trying to be funny more than anything else (the cast is amazing) and yet the pro-life message seems to creep in. The way they portrayed the abortion clinic was spot on. That alone should make young women think. Oh what a cold, dark place! The girl who is protesting alone outside of the clinic is officially my new hero! The movie has a kind of mainstreamed cult-following, if that's not an oxymoron. It's like Napoleon Dynamite (as you point out) - a strange, offbeat independent movie that would be a cult movie if every other teenager didn't love it. Anywho, I went with my fiance and we laughed a lot. We both agreed it was the funniest film we've seen in a while. Then again, as my friend said to me, Jason Bateman could read the phone book and it'd be funny!</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/35367405/2114450504951038901/comments/default/8091532008398842877'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/35367405/2114450504951038901/comments/default/8091532008398842877'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://causa-nostrae-laetitiae.blogspot.com/2008/01/review-of-juno.html?showComment=1200430020000#c8091532008398842877' title=''/><author><name>Nolan Reynolds</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/14923940769425216982</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://causa-nostrae-laetitiae.blogspot.com/2008/01/review-of-juno.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35367405.post-2114450504951038901' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/35367405/posts/default/2114450504951038901' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
